We've been SPOOFED!

Our public phone number was spoofed. Meaning someone, somewhere is making calls that appear to be coming *from* our number via caller ID, but IT IS NOT ITAV making the calls.

We have reported this issue to our carrier, but there is little we can do while we wait for the carrier to fix the situation OR for the scammer to move on to another number.​

We don't know if the scammer is claiming to be It Takes A Village, or running some other unrelated scam. We all know scam calls have skyrocketed lately and are seemingly beyond the control of most carriers.

PLEASE KNOW THIS: ITAV will never call you to solicit donations, request services or verify personal information. Our campaigns are conducted via email and social media and can be confirmed on our website. Also, there is NO personal information for anyone stored in relation to our phone number/carrier, so this spoofing activity has not given anyone access to the minimal amount of personal information we keep on file.
