CYWA Coatesville
Operating a homeless women's shelter and a recovery home for pregnant mothers suffering from opioid addiction.
CYWA takes donations of all kinds for their clients including clothes, toiletries, kitchen items, air mattresses and other small household items. Please call ahead to confirm, drop off hours are M-F 9a-5p.
Home of the Sparrow
Operating transitional homes for women across the county, Home of the Sparrow takes many kinds of donations at their facilities and at their headquarters in Exton. Please contact them to confirm.
Domestic Violence Center of Chester County (DVCCC)
Assisting victims of domestic violence with emergency and transitional housing, the DVCCC also accepts many donations to assist their clients. Due to confidentiality and protection of their residents, please call to coordinate your donation of gently used items.
Habitat for Humanity
Accepting furniture donations of all kinds.
Community Warehouse Project
A really cool new venture that accepts used furniture in Downingtown and uses it to re-home homeless families into welcoming furnished homes. This is AWESOME and something the village has done on a small scale during our Individual Sponsorships. Please consider supporting them!
Birthright of West Chester and Birthright of Coatesville
Accepting donations of baby items of all kinds, diapers and maternity clothes for mothers in need. Please call ahead to verify donation and schedule drop-off.
Thrivent
Offering financial planning assistance with heart. ITAV community partner for community shred events and offers collection for food boxes and Neighbor to Neighbor programs.
